9 Easy Play Dough Recipes

0

I always loved playing with play dough as a kid, but we often didn’t have any since that was a luxury item. Playdough is one present I welcome at the boy’s birthday parties though as it is a manipulative and they can learn so much while playing with the substance. I was totally against slime for the longest until I believe my oldest won some as a reward. I caved and let slime in our house.  Slime is now an outside toy and if you need tips on cleaning it, review my cleaning article. Don’t get me started on that sand substance.  Anyway, here are 9 easy play dough recipes with limited ingredients to make this summer or any time of the year.

Air Dry Clay

All you need is corn starch, baking soda, and water.

Cloud Dough

All you need is corn starch, food coloring, and baby lotion.

Color Changing Slime

All you need is color-changing glue(you can use other kinds as well such as glow-in-the-dark), water, contact lens solution, and baking soda.

Edible Ice Cream Playdough

Fun for younger kids with just store-bought frosting and powdered sugar!
